On June 27, 2024, the much anticipated science fiction movie “Kalki 2898 AD” will make its world premiere. The film has already created a great deal of excitement and anticipation among fans and stars a spectacular ensemble cast of Indian cinema luminaries, including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
The excitement surrounding the project has increased even more with the news that was made today, precisely two months ahead of the release date. Fans were mesmerised by a recent sneak peek at the universe of “Kalki 2898 AD,” which starred Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama. The actor’s remarkable de-aging metamorphosis was especially noteworthy. A truly pan-Indian teaser, the character reveal featured a variety of languages, including English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Bachchan wrote, “It’s been an experience for me like no other,” when he posted earlier in the day on X (previously Twitter). The capacity to imagine such a thing, its implementation, its exposure to modern technologies, and—above all—its friendship with colleagues who demonstrate stratospheric Super star presence.
Ashwin promised “Kalki 2898 AD” would be an amazing visual spectacular when he teased fans with fascinating new details about the ambitious science-fiction project a few months ago. “I just wish that there was more tech to help us make this film, like three-four years back when we were in preproduction,” Ashwin said at the Synapse 2024 event in Gurgaon.
